BACKSTABBERS!!

In my short years I am amazed at some people who think backstabbing would get them anywhere in life.

I'm actually quite curious whether backstabbers actually think they are doing what's right? What sort of sad little life have they had that they resort to sad petty little tactics?

Oh well to all you sad backstabbing idiots out there, (if ur reading this I know who you are!) just thought you should know that there's a special place with your name written on it....Lucifer loves company ;)

Looking for a job in KL

Changing jobs....the mere mention of changing jobs brings not too fond memories...some distant, some recent.

I'm no stranger to the whole dance routine that everyone has to go through to get a "hopefully" good job. I'm 26 and I've been working since 16. In the last 10 years, I've been a waitress, sales promoter, office girl, admin exec, director, account manager, conference development manager, asst marketing manager....and in almost all of these jobs, i had to go through the whole process of looking for a job, applying for it, waiting anxiously for a call...getting disappointed when there are no calls...getting worried whether your resume was a source of laughter and amusement to some deranged HR manager....going for the interview and praying your hands are not sweaty and you don't fall flat on your face

Right now once again I'm embarking on the journey of looking for a job. Like every other person on this planet, i hate it! The whole thing is just totally unpleasant. And even if you get the job, you have to go through the whole process of getting to know new ppl, learning new things, assimilating to the new environment. And if you're really unlucky, you might end up like me right now. Sucky boss, stupid management (i.e. literally like Dilbert) and backstabbing colleagues. (If I'm not mistaken I have some colleagues on Friendster, and they might see this....but hey, if you're gonna act like one, be prepared to be called one to your face!!)

Preparing my resume now...gonna massively send it out...hoping to impress someone with it......till then, I'll sit here and anxiously wait, bite my nails, look at my phone, will it to ring (and hopefully its not my mom or sisters wanting something) ...and go for horrid interviews....

-sigh- working life in KL =p

When it rains in KL it pours

working in KL has its ups and downs....and traffic jams and polluted air... I've been born and raised in KL and I just can't see myself living anywhere else.

Today started unlike normal days....its was raining cats and dogs.... Lovely time to just crawl back into bed and snuggle under my comforter with all my pillows....BUT that was not to be...was rudely awaken by the phone. My boyfriend telling me that he's coming to pick me up for work -sigh- and the day didn't get any better.

I work as a Asst Marketing Manager in a publishing firm. My office is right in the heart of KL. Jalan Raja Chulan. I head the marketing department in a so called "international" company which largely feels and functions like Dilbert.

So we were having an event in a hotel today and had to be there extra early to set up everything. Now me and my boyfriend kinda had a argument the night before...and right now if I'm not mistaken, I no longer have a boyfriend. I just couldn't take it anymore. Maybe it was the rain, maybe it was him, i dunno, I just called it quits after 2 and a half years together.

But I'll rather not spend too much time whining away. My life is good. I'm young, I've got a bright future. I'm sure I'll survive without a man. And I refuse to whine about not having a man. Its alright, dogs are just as good a companion ;)

I'm back in the office now and I gotta go out on a meeting with my boss. Ohhhhh can't wait... =p

(just in case you're reading this and you don't know me that well....please read it with lots and lots of sarcasm ;) and don't take things that I say too overly serious)

alrighty then, time to go and be nice to some clients and hope this day doesn't end as badly as it started.
